Life of 'The Brady Bunch's Christopher Knight after He Left Acting

Christopher Knight, also known as Peter Brady from "The Brady Bunch," was 65 and had a beautiful wife! The star changed career cardinally after leaving acting and was happy when his television mother from the show approved of his wife.

Christopher Knight started acting as a child actor in the fan-favorite show, "The Brady Bunch." In the series, he starred as Peter Brady and became an icon, but as an adult, his interests didn't include the entertainment industry.

He was more into high technology, science, and computers, leading him to a job in the industry in 1988. Being a celebrity led him to have the people skills he needed to become great in his new marketing and sales role.

Christopher started as a Martec, Inc. account sales manager, and within his first eighteen months, he'd made the company's first $1 million sales order! He became successful in his new venture and earned the top performer and then an employee of the year!

Besides finding a career path that fulfilled him more than acting, the actor also discovered something more meaningful - love. He met someone who made him happy and stood by his side.

Who Is Christopher's Wife?

On November 14, 2016, Christopher shared gorgeous Facebook images of his fourth wedding day! The star explained how "magical" the day was and said he and Cara Kokenes Knight had married a week before.

He described their wedding day as perfect, with a small group of family in attendance. The day was 70 degrees, and the wedding was held in the middle of Lake Michigan on a yacht.

Christopher [Knight] confessed that he wished he'd seen [Florence] Henderson more.

That same month and year, Christopher lost the woman who appeared as his mother on "The Brady Bunch," Florence Henderson. Speaking about the loss, he shared how a castmate, role model, good friend, and his "second mom" had died.

Henderson had been important to Christopher, and her opinion mattered greatly to him. He tried his best to please her and earn her respect and guidance, but sometimes her wisdom came from watching her and learning from her behavior, noting:

"She totally approved of Cara. It was wonderful having her make her part of the family.”

The last time he saw Henderson was when she was taping "Dancing with the Stars," with Maureen McCormick, a former "Brady Bunch" co-star, on hand. Christopher confessed that he wished he'd seen Henderson more.

In October 2022, the then-65-year-old former actor uploaded an Instagram image of him looking amazing with his wife and called her "my love." The duo posed while looking through a swim ring while attending the Hollywood premiere of "The Real Love Boat."
